US IPO Archive
An initial public offering (IPO) is the process by which a private company issues shares to the public on a registered stock exchange for the first time. Since 2020, the US IPO market has experienced significant waves of activity — including a record-breaking boom in 2020–2021, a sharp contraction in 2022–2023, and a gradual reopening through 2024–2025.
EquitiesAmerica.com is building a structured historical archive of IPOs listed on the NYSE and NASDAQ. Each entry will document the company, ticker, exchange, SIC sector, offer date, offer price, shares offered, total proceeds raised, lead underwriters, and first-day closing price. Post-IPO price histories will be presented for educational context only.
Data will be sourced from publicly available SEC S-1 and 424B4 filings via EDGAR, supplemented by exchange announcements. We will not include subjective assessments of IPO quality or prospects.
